Based in New York, Richard is also a presenter of The Express and Quest’s World of Wonder. Additionally, Quest serves as CNN Business editor-at-large and regularly hosts the digital live financial show “Markets Now” live streamed from the floor of the NYSE. Quest has covered every major stock market and financial crisis since Black Monday in 1987 and has reported from key financial centers globally including Wall Street, London, Sao Paolo, Tokyo and Hong Kong. He has regularly reported from G20 meetings and attends the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland each year. Prior to joining CNN, he worked at the BBC, where he was the North America business correspondent, based on Wall Street for 12 years.
As a top private equity investor in Asia for 30 years, and a former Partner at Fidelity Growth Partners Asia, Benson’s VC/PE career started with Hellman & Friedman in Hong Kong back in 1992. In 2013, he started his single-family office Venturous which evolved into Venturous Group in 2019. Venturous Group is an investor, business builder and operator, transforming the future of city living by making cities more liveable, sustainable and productive in China a beyond. Benson has been based in Beijing for the past 20 years.
Savio was President and COO of Alibaba Group from 2001 to 2003 and served as its Chief People Officer for the year 2004 before stepping down from full-time executive duties. He also served as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Alibaba.com, the listed B2B unit of Alibaba Group, from 2008 until the company was privatized in June 2012. Savio has 30 years of global management experience, including 17 years at General Electric and four years as the Managing Director of the China operations of BTR plc, a UK-based Fortune 500 company. In 2005 he co-founded A & K Consulting with Malcolm Au, where he serves as CEO and Founding Partner, advising entrepreneurs about start-up businesses in China.
iSoftStone has nearly 20 years of vertical industry integration experience. Its client base includes 1,000+ customers of which 200+ are Fortune 500 companies in the world and China, and has long-term relationships with Huawei, Alibaba, Tencent and Baidu. It also serves six large state-owned commercial banks, all 12 national joint-stock commercial banks, 50 insurance companies and 31 central state-owned financial companies. TW started his career in 1991 as an IT Consulting Manager at Digital Equipment Corporation, followed by work at other international firms before co-founding AsiaEC.com in 1999 building China’s largest on-line office supply and services provider. He entered the IT services field in 2001 and founded the current iSoftStone in 2005.
Arup has 16,000 staff globally covering more than 140 countries. The firm is at the forefront of Digital Twin technology for buildings with its Neuron solution and has a long track record of helping cities becoming smarter. For example, it is the selected master planner for Xiong-An New City in China, which includes Smart City, sustainability, energy, and transportation. Michael is a structural engineer by training, and during his 35-year career at Arup, his work has spanned the design of super-high-rise buildings, long span structures, stadia and transport terminals. He was responsible for the design and management of key elements of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, including the ‘Bird’s Nest’, as well as Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3.

Dale joined Fidelity International’s Tokyo office in 1996 as a Research Associate. It was during his tenure as an analyst that Dale first began to take an interest in the Chinese market. In 2003, he was promoted to Portfolio Manager of the Fidelity Pacific Fund and retains management of that portfolio today. Prior to joining Fidelity, Dale worked at Bankers Trust Asia Securities in Tokyo and as a Market/Business Analyst at Sony Corporation, also in Tokyo.
